The power of God, all in a push of a button. Nuclear weapons are the most destructive, powerful, barbaric weapons ever used and made in human history. They have the capability of wiping out populations of people, destroying entire ecosystems, tearing down cities in a matter of seconds. These weapons are unlike any other for they are unique in their tenacious, dispersing, genetically damaging radioactive after effects. They are so powerful that even the use of tens or hundreds of nuclear bombs would disrupt the global climate, causing widespread famine. The use of atomic bombs began in the times of World War II, the fight between the Axis powers and the Allies. In the Axis powers the three main countries were Germany, Italy, and Japan. In the Allied powers the main countries consisted of Great Britain, the United States, China, and the Soviet Union. The drive and purpose of the Axis powers were to (The Axis powers had 2 common goals) For them, nothing would get in their way. While doing so the killing of thousands of innocent people including acts of genocide took place. Later in the war Germany and Italy would surrender due to invasions by Allied powers and the Invasion in Normandy resulting in Allied liberation of Western Europe from Germany Nazi control.
